Abhinaya scores thrice

Tollywood actress and model Abhinaya is all set to star in the Kannada remake of the Tamil hit Nadodigal. Despite being speech and hearing impaired, she won several accolades for the film and was lauded by critics for her performance. She won the Film fare Best Female Debut (South) award and the Vijay award for best supporting actress for her performance.

She began modeling at the tender age of 3 and taught herself how to dance. She is endorsed by brands such as Reddy Labs and Ohri. The actress originally started her career in Kerala, featuring in several advertisements. Her performances caught the eye of director Samuthirakkani, who immediately signed her for Nadodigal. She played the role of Sasikumar’s sister in the film.

Having performed brilliantly in the Tamil flick, she was promptly signed for the Telugu remake, ‘Sambo Siva Sambo’. She played the role of Ravi Teja’s sister in the film. Now, she is set to complete a hat-trick, having signed for the Kannada remake as well. She will play the role of the sister again. The film is yet to be titled and will be produced by Puneeth Rajkumar. It will be directed by acclaimed director K.Madesha. Several big names such as Puneeth Rajkumar, Srinagar Kutty, Radhika Pundit and Yogish have also been signed for lead roles in the fill. V.Hari Krishna will compose sound and music for the film, while Sathya Hegde will handle the cinematography. The shooting of the film spans a number of locations such as Mysore, Chikkade and Bangalore. The film will be shot over 100 strenuous days.

Abhinaya has also finished shooting for her next Tollywood flick, Easan where she plays the leading role. The film is directed by Sasikumar, who has also directed the famous Subramaniapuram. She stars opposite in the film. It is great to see her career take off so well, despite being speech and hearing impaired. We all witnessed how she didn’t let her handicap limit her performances in Nadodigal and there is no doubt that she will do equally well in all her upcoming films.
